Cancellation within the cooling off period
Once your application to Bristol Energy has started, you have a 14 day cancellation, or ‘cooling off’ period. This starts on the day you receive your Welcome Pack from us. The cancellation period gives you time to make changes to your choice of product or your method of payment, or to cancel your application to join Bristol Energy.
During this time if you want to discuss your tariff or account options further, or are unsure if the plan is right for you, we are very happy to help.

Cancellation outside the cooling off period
If you’ve made up your mind, and you’re moving to another supplier, your contract will end after we receive notice from them. You can also terminate your contract with Bristol Energy by requesting the supply is disconnected. In this case, your contract will end when this happens.
We’ll be in touch with you to finalise the process, but if you have any queries or concerns, contact us straight away.
