Emergency contacts

Warning message

Like many other organisations, we've changed the way we work during the COVID-19 pandemic. If you can, please use your online account or our app to manage your energy with us. If your query is urgent and you do need to speak to us, it may take us longer to get to your call. You can find out more here about your account, meter readings and how we're working right now.

Smell gas?

If you smell gas, detect a gas leak, or experience an unexpected loss of supply, call the National Gas Emergency service on 0800 111 999 (24 hours).

  • Open all doors and windows
  • Don’t use naked flames
  • Don’t use mobile phones
  • Don’t turn electrical switches on or off

Electricity

If you're experiencing a power cut or a problem with your electricity supply, and your neighbours are also affected, call 105 (24 hours). It’s free of charge and they'll put you through to your local network operator who can give you help and advice.

If you’re a ‘pay as you go’ customer, please first check that your meter is topped up.

If you’re experiencing a power cut and it’s just your property:

  • If the problem is meter related, we’ll be able to help.
  • If the problem isn’t related to your meter, we’ll ask that you call an electrician.

If there is a safety issue with the electricity supply within your property please call us on 0808 281 2222 and select option 1 for the emergency option in and out of hours.
