Bristol Energy's B2B team raise money for charity at The Business Show.
Last week (17 & 18 Nov 2016), the Bristol Energy business team attended The Business Show at Olympia, London.
Here's Direct Sales Manager, Chris, with some thoughts on a really successful event:
"The Business Show is the country's leading business exhibition; so a pretty big deal for our first trade show outside of the South West!
I attended with my colleagues Jo Stevens and James Palmer, and the steady stream of business owners passing our stand kept all three of us talking pretty much non-stop. It was great to find everyone so receptive to the idea of an energy company that’s investing its profits back into the community.
Staying true to the Bristol Energy mission to be a force for social good and to do things a little differently, instead of offering a free bottle of champagne for a business card drop, we made a charity pledge of £5 for every photo tweeted featuring our Bristol Energy mood balls.
Even Scott Saunders, a contestant from last year’s series of The Apprentice, and Crystal Palace chairman, Steve Parish, got involved.
We’re delighted to have raised £125 over the two days for Bristol-based homeless Charity, Caring in Bristol, and Children in Need. And hopefully we managed to bring a little positive energy to all those who visited our stand!"
