Contracts Manager

Salary: Dependent on experience

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

About the role

We’re looking for a dynamic Contract Manager to work closely with our commercially focused and operational teams. You’ll need to love a challenge, have boundless energy, strong resilience and a passion for getting the job done.

You will be responsible for our contracts and ongoing relationships with third party agents and suppliers, working with everyone from service providers, supply partners and other operational third party contractors.

You will be responsible for working with key internal stakeholders to support and deliver our contract management activities. You will own these third party services and supply relationships, making sure that all contracted parties meet the agreed performance expectations and contractual obligations.

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Maintaining and developing the contract management process including executing contracts that benefit and deliver on our business objectives

  • Liaising between suppliers, agents and relevant internal departments to build and maintain good working relationships with new and existing agents

  • Negotiating and agreeing contracts, monitoring the quality of service provided

  • Alerting relevant parties and directing improvements when the agreed service level is not being delivered upon

  • Creating and maintaining return on investment analysis of existing contracts and arrangements

  • Investigating alternative supply sources and markets where appropriate

  • Maintaining effective supplier relationships to ensure that they consistently meet or exceed business expectations, including regular reports on supplier performance and forecasts

  • Managing performance against targets with agents

  • Reviewing and managing the monthly reporting from all agents, raising any concerns or areas of performance improvement

  • Monitoring changes or developments within the industry and sharing with relevant internal stakeholders for information, improvement and learning

About you

You must have:

  • A proactive approach and passion for delivering business benefits

  • Confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong background in end to end contracts management

  • Experience managing third party supplier performance

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Demonstratable experience delivering value for money
