Bristol Energy Finance Director Marek Majewicz has stepped into the role of interim Managing Director.
Currently we supply 76,000 homes and 2,500 businesses, helping households across the country save £170 a year on their energy bills on average.
From launching our Fuel Good Fund for helping local families struggling with fuel poverty live in healthier homes, to providing industry leading billing, customer service and debt collection performance, we’ve created a positive, ethical energy company, with every customer helping us to make a positive difference.
Peter Haigh said: “I’d like to thank all the staff whose passion and commitment have helped us through every step of our journey so far. They have ensured that our founding principle of being a force for social good remains at the heart of everything we do.”
Bristol City Council Deputy Major Craig Cheney said: “I would like to thank Peter for all he has done in establishing Bristol Energy and getting the business to where it is today. The performance of the business reflects the hard work and dedication of Peter and his team, the company having hit key milestones in a particularly difficult energy market. We wish Peter all the very best for the future.”
We’re continuing to work hard to further boost the company’s financial performance and deliver on its social objectives to tackle fuel poverty, increase sustainability and help the City Council achieve its goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2030.
