Pay a bill for your home

There are a number of different ways in which you can pay your Bristol Energy account, depending on your agreed payment type.

Direct Debit

The easiest way to pay your bill is by Direct Debit. The amount you pay is based on your projected annual energy usage (together with any outstanding balance) and is a fixed amount every month. This will be reviewed regularly and may be increased or decreased depending on how much energy you use. You can set up a Direct Debit by calling Customer Care free on 0808 281 2222 between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.

Notice of Change of Payment Processor for Direct Debits to GoCardless

Bristol Energy are changing our payment processor for Direct Debit payments. Our new processor, GoCardless, will be responsible for all Direct Debit collections from March 2021.

There’s no action required from you to continue paying by Direct Debit, and the change will not affect the service you receive in any way. All your payments will continue to be fully protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.

Online payment

You can pay securely by logging in to your online account here.

From your bank account

You can also pay directly from your bank account by making a payment to Bristol Energy using our account details below. Please use your Bristol Energy account number as the payment reference to help us allocate the payment to your account.

*The bank account is in the name of our parent company, Together Energy Ltd. When making an online banking payment transfer, please do ensure that the payee name you enter is Together Energy Ltd.

Telephone payments

We have a secure telephone line where you can speak to one of our team and make a payment. Please call on 0808 281 2222 and quote the reference number which you will find at the bottom of your bill under the barcode.

Over the counter

You can pay your bill at the Post Office, via PayPoint by scanning the barcode on your bill. You can pay by cash, cheques and cards this way.

Prepayment meter

This type of meter means you can pay in regular instalments. Talk to us if you would prefer to pay by this method. They can be topped up by simply taking your card or key to all participating Post Offices, or any service station or shop where you see the PayPoint or Payzone signs.
